Lakeshore Villages Neighborhood Entrance

LAKESHORE VILLAGES – SLIDELL, LA

Another Neighborhood entrance built for a new neighborhood in Slidell, LA. The scope of work began with a custom fountain, which required us to drive 50’ friction piles prior to the foundation being dug. A complex assortment of rebar was needed to support what would be an impressive tower and water feature blade wall. Again, the base of the tower, the blade wall, and the basin were constructed from CMU block work. Veneered in natural stone and stucco, this design features multiple textures and colors. The top of the tower was framed with timber and topped with a metal standing seam roof. The corbels, siding, and trim work added more lines and were the substrate for several different colors of paint. Plumbing the water feature was one of the most important aspects to this job, as it was necessary for each of the scupper water falls to have the appropriate water pressure, resulting in a uniform flow. The custom lighting and logo/lettering signage finished off this scope of work.
