This client reached out to us because they wanted to enhance their backyard space, which overlooked a neighborhood “lake”. They requested a more “modern” look, so we chose stainless steel cable railing, attached to sleek, black steel posts, to surround the multilevel deck. To add to the contemporary look, the client opted for horizontal decking and a light stain. The wood was a combination of pine and cypress, and it the deck was topped off with a contemporary aluminum roof.
