This family built their home on a waterfront property but were dealing with a very steep slope that took up the majority of their backyard. To allow them to get the most use out of their property, and to be able to enjoy the view, we extended their patio with flagstone pavers that flowed seamlessly onto the new custom cedar deck we built for them. This deck was a masterpiece, and every part of it was built by hand. The louvered privacy screen, planters with hidden storage, firepit, swing, and lighting along the steps and railing, were just a few of the special touches we created for this project.
The different levels of the deck added a feeling of separate spaces, which was optimal for entertaining, and the fire pit with custom built seating and benches is the perfect finishing touch for the family to be able to enjoy the beautiful Louisiana weather comfortably in their own backyard!
